A Movement Built by Women, for Women
A Movement Built by Women, for Women
NOW Kenya is more than an organization — it is a growing national movement of women united by purpose.
We bring women together to support one another, share opportunities, and rise collectively.
Through unity, we amplify our voices, strengthen our influence, and create lasting change.
Women across Kenya continue to face systemic barriers—from economic exclusion to gender-based violence and limited access to leadership opportunities.
These challenges are not isolated. They are shared.
And they require a collective response.
We equip women with the skills, resources, and opportunities needed to build sustainable livelihoods, grow businesses, and achieve financial independence.
We work to prevent violence, support survivors, and strengthen community systems that protect women and girls across Kenya.
We prepare and empower women to take on leadership roles in communities, institutions, and national platforms — ensuring women shape Kenya's future.

NOW Kenya was founded with a bold vision — to create a united, powerful platform for women across Kenya.
NOW Kenya was founded on a simple yet powerful belief: when women unite, they become an unstoppable force for national transformation.
We are creating a platform where women uplift one another, grow collectively, and speak with a shared voice—amplifying their influence across every sector.
Our mission is to build a national movement that connects women from the grassroots to the highest levels of leadership, ensuring they are not only included but also at the forefront of shaping Kenya’s future.
This is more than a movement. It is collective power.

From the Streets to Stability
Janet’s life once unfolded on the streets.
With six children to care for, survival was a daily struggle. Her children would wander through the streets, scavenging in bins for anything they could find to eat. There was no stability, no safety — only uncertainty.
When we first met Janet, it wasn’t directly. It was through her daughter—a quiet but determined young girl who led us to her. What we found was not just hardship, but resilience.
Through NOW Kenya, we came together to support Janet and her family. We secured a safe place for them to live and helped her start a small business—a fresh produce stall that would become the foundation of her independence.
Today, Janet stands behind her business with dignity and purpose. She is earning a steady income and providing for her children, and most importantly, her children are back in school.
They no longer roam the streets and now have stability, hope, and a future.
Janet’s story is not just a story of change—it is a reflection of what is possible when women are supported and when we come together as a movement.
NOW Kenya is building a nationwide network of women leaders—structured from the grassroots to the national level.
Our model begins at the ward level, where women come together within their communities to organize, support one another, and address local challenges.
These groups connect and scale to the constituency level, strengthening collaboration, amplifying voices, and driving collective action.
At the county level, leadership is consolidated to influence policy, partnerships, and development priorities that impact women more broadly.
Finally, at the national level, these voices unite into a powerful, coordinated movement—shaping conversations, advocating for change, and influencing the direction of the country.
Through structured community engagement, leadership development, and strategic partnerships, NOW Kenya is creating a unified platform where women can organize, advocate, and lead change at every level of society.
Covering all 47 counties, 290 constituencies and 1450 wards — building Kenya's most comprehensive women's leadership network.
